Phthisis Diagnostics has several products under development and expects to release its first product in 2010! Please check back for updates on our product line. DNA Extraction from Difficult Matrices
Obtaining high quality nucleic acids from some samples types can be difficult.  Phthisis Diagnostics will release its first product in this line in mid-2010.  The first product in this line allow extraction of DNA from fecal samples in a rapid and easy-to-use method.

Clinical Molecular Diagnostics
Detect a variety of pathogens in a sensitive, simple DNA-based test.  Look for the release of our first product in this line in 2011.  The first product will detect Cryptosporidium and Giardia from clinical stool samples, providing sensitive and accurate results.  Additional diagnostics for other infectious diseases are also under development.

Molecular Standards
A limiting factor to many clinical labs is access to high quality standard materials.  Phthisis Diagnostics is developing a line of Molecular Standards that will fill this need.  Such standards will be useful as positive controls, standard curves, extraction controls, and other uses.  The first products in this line will be molecular standards for Cryptosporidium and Giardia and are expected to be available for purchase in late 2010.
